This practical water well is built in some of the driest regions of Niger, Cameroon, and Chad, providing a vital water source for large families, entire neighborhoods, and small villages. It requires no electricity for water extraction, as it is equipped with a high-quality hand pump, ensuring reliable access to clean drinking water.
Everyone in the community—including children, elders, women, and men—will benefit from this well. It will serve as the primary water source for the village, supplying water for drinking, cooking, household tasks, hygiene, and daily needs. More than 180 people, or approximately 20+ families, will benefit from this well every day.
Once the well is built in your name (or a name of your choice), you will receive a collection of pictures and videos documenting the construction process, along with the exact location of the well.
